The problem with month-end
Most teams find attendance mistakes when payroll is already being prepared. At that point the manager has forgotten the day, the employee is defensive, and HR is guessing. The fix is not a better spreadsheet. It is moving the check to the moment the record is created.
What we do instead
Clockline validates each check-in against the rules for that site. Records that pass go to the manager. Records that fail go to an exception queue with the failed check named, so the manager decides with the evidence in front of them.
A short checklist
Set a location radius per site. Bind each employee to one device. Rotate the QR token at shared gates. Decide which roles need a selfie.
